I love video games. Been playing them since I was a wee one, still whip out the old Super NES once in awhile to lose terribly at Super Ghouls and Ghosts, or bust shit up in Kirby Super Star.
New breeds of gamer have sprung up since those halcyon days of yesteryear.

Video games have broken up marriages, driven people to madness, obsessed people to the point of death.
My once pearly-pure endeavor to get Mario past World 8 and kick Bowser's reptile ass into the lava have been subsumed into the world at large, given television channels and brand endorsements.
Things change, c'est la vie.
